Losing a loved one is a difficult and sometimes overwhelming time for family and friends. A professional funeral celebrant can provide guidance and support to craft a personal and meaningful service for a loved one.

As a professional and compassionate funeral celebrant, I will spend time with family and friends to develop a true and fitting reflection of the life of the person they are commemorating. I can also provide assistance to structure the service, eulogies and select appropriate music. We can design a unique and fitting ceremony that truly reflects the needs of the bereaved as well as the wishes of the deceased. There is no set formula.

Everyone has a story, and being tasked with designing a ceremony to celebrate someone's life is a great privilege. My attention to detail, my compassion and empathy, and my commitment to serving you will result in a beautiful ceremony to gently farewell your loved one.

"When I heard Cathy was new to our area I felt it was unlikely that she would have known dad, and also perhaps unlikely that in our emotional state, we would be able to convey what he meant to us, how he was so loved by a large and extended family, how he had such respect in the community, and how we would like the service to be conducted.

I felt that we were possibly not able to give Cathy the best chance to achieve the kind of service we were hoping for.

None of these concerns should have entered my mind - Cathy really "got" our dad - she listened, questioned, suggested, confirmed, empathised and was able to absolutely present a service for our dad which was exceptionally warm, well spoken and at times with humour but with the greatest respect.
